Adding photos or clip art to your page

All “images” (photos or clip art) are embedded within an object. The object provides clipping and layering for your image.

  1. Select the tool corresponding to the object you wish to create in the Tools Palette. The cursor will change to “cross hairs” indicating you are ready to draw draw an object.
  2. Click and drag in your scrapbook page to create an object with the desired location and size.
  3. You can move and resize your object (unless it is Locked) at any time. Hint: make the object the desired size before adding photos/clip art. iRemember automatically scales photos/clip art to fit the object (while maintaining the aspect ratio) when an image is embedded.
  4. Use any of the methods described in “Embedding Photos, Clip Art & Patterns in Objects” to embed the image.
  5. Resize, rotate or set the opacity of the embedded image using the Image Tab of the Inspector.

  6. Reposition the image within the object using the Grabber Tool.
  7. For photos: use the Shape Tab of the Inspector to set attributes such as the stroke or shadow.
  8. For clip art: you may wish to disable both the stroke and fill color to eliminate the border and background around the clip art.
