iRemember FAQ
Q: How do I add items to the iRemember Clipart database?
A: We didn't really plan for this, but it can be done…
Why
Several people have written wanting to add items to the clip art database.
Some are creating their own art in photoshop and want to store it in their clip art database.
Others are downloading clip art from other scrapbooking websites and want to keep everything organized in one place.
Frankly, we didn't ancicpate these needs, but iRemember Clipart does allow you to add your own items as long as you follow a few quirky steps:
How
- Make certain the file type (of the item you are adding) is supported.
- Open iRemember clip art and select the “Library” tab.
- Set the “Select” menu to “All”
- Make certain nothing is typed into the search field. (aka “Enter keywords” field)
- Drag the file for the clip art you wish to add on top of an existing item in the database.
The last part is the “quirk” - technically you have to drag onto an item in the grid displaying the database. However, since no bounds are displayed around items in the “grid” — the easiest way to make certain you are over the grid is to drag it on top of something already in the grid.
After step 5 you are presented with a dialog requesting keywords. Below is an example:
